Laura Sheehy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Rockland County native. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Dominican University New York.

Prior to joining Allergy and Asthma Care of Rockland, Laura worked as an ICU Registered Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in the William Randolph Hearst Burn Center. There, she cared for burn patients as well as individuals facing a wide range of dermatologic conditions. This experience deepened her interest in the connection between Dermatology, Allergy, and Immunology and inspired her passion for helping patients improve their quality of life.

Known for her warm and approachable nature, Laura values building meaningful relationships with her patients and families. She believes that listening carefully and creating a supportive environment are just as important as providing expert medical care.

In her free time, Laura enjoys running and spending time outdoors. As she raises her young family in Rockland County, she feels deeply connected to the community she serves. Laura is passionate about helping her patients succeed and empowering them to live fuller, healthier lives not defined by their allergies.
